FALSE DOCTRINE ALERT!

“Conform ourselves” ? The Bible says we are conformed to the image of Christ by the Holy Spirit and the word of God (Bible). Catholic doctrine is work based and a false gospel.

2 Corinthians 3:18 says that “we are being transformed into [Christ’s] likeness” and Romans 8:29 states that God “predestined [all believers] to be conformed to the likeness of his Son.”

Romans 8:29 – For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Galatians 3:27 – For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:18
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

2 Corinthians 3:18And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Psalm 51:10-12
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

John 8:31
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,

Philippians 1:6
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ Fullfilled the Law: IT IS FINNISHED

Jesus Christ Fullfilled the Law: IT IS FINNISHED Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the law. He kept it completely and fully. No one can keep the law or Jesus would not have needed to come. Only that which is of the Holy Spirit in us is good, all else falls short of God’s glory. Flesh is in enmity with God and always will be until we are given our new bodies for eternity. Prior to the Crucifixion and resurrection: Truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not a…n iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished”
Matthew 5:17–20 On the cross-“It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. John 19:30 After the resurrection: For Christ is the END OF THE LAW for righteousness to everyone who believes. ROMANS 10:4 Christ is the end of the law. Christ fulfilled the law. Those who believe on the completed, accomplished work of Jesus Christ receive the righteousness of God. Now we are under the law of the Spirit of life and liberty in Christ Jesus …not the old Testament law. IT IS ABOLISHED!! We are not made righteous because of our good work but rather because of the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross and after his resurrection when he sprinkled his blood on the mercy seat in heaven. Jesus Christ was sacrificed for us. For our sins. The just for the unjust. Jesus was our Passover.  He fulfilled all the law and accomplished for us his righteousness and redemption when he was crucified on the cross.
When Jesus was sacrificed on the cross for our sins he had fulfilled  ALL the law. Nothing was left undone in his completed work! The bible says that he who knew no sin BECAME SIN so that we could have imputed to us(accredited to our account) HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. Philippians 3:9: And be found in him (Christ), not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, But that which is through the faith (accomplished believing) of Christ, the righteousness Which is of God by faith (believing)
We do not have to keep the law in order to establish our own righteousness by our own works because we are righteous because of the accomplished work of Jesus Christ. Righteousness is imputed to us (accredited to our account because of Jesus) 2 Corinthians 5:21 “he became sin so that you and I might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Romans 3:24: Being justified freely by his (God’s) grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 1 Corinthians 5:7:
For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: Jesus Christ is now our Sabbath rest and we no longer have to observe the Sabbath day for those who are in Christ Jesus are now free from the law of Moses which could not justify us from sin.  Just as men are no longer obligated to be circumcised they are no longer obligated to keep the Old Testament Sabbath which is under the Leviticus priesthood and the law of Moses. The Sabbath symbolized the coming of the Messiah, so if you are still keeping the Sabbath then you have placed yourself back under the law. The Sabbath day rest God instituted as a foreshadowing of our complete rest in Christ . He blessed it, sanctified it, and made it holy. The Sabbath was a symbol of Christ the messiah.  Christ IS our Sabbath rest. He is the holy, perfect Son of God who sanctifies and makes holy all who trust in Him.
God sanctified Christ, just as He sanctified the Sabbath day, and sent Him into the world to be our sacrifice for sin. In Him we find complete rest from the labors of our self-efforts because JESUS alone is holy and righteous. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” 2 Corinthians 5:2   We can now cease from our spiritual labors and rest in Him, not just one day a week, but always. As God incarnate  Jesus is our Sabbath rest in the flesh. He is “Lord of the Sabbath” Matthew 12:8 There is no other Sabbath rest besides Jesus. He alone satisfies the requirements of the Law, and He alone provides the sacrifice that atones for sin.
Jesus is God’s plan for us to cease from the labor of our own works. By continuing to keep the Sabbath law we are rejecting the New Testament salvation in Jesus Christ.  Please don’t reject God’s Sabbath rest in Jesus Christ and continue to observe the law, which has been fulfilled in Christ.  “There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience” Hebrews 4:9-11

The Law VRS Grace

Salvation plus a good deed?

Self effort is focused on self achievement.

We must do this for God.

I must do this for God.

You must do this for God.

They must do this for God.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification were through the law, then Christ died to no purpose.” (Galatians 2:20-21)

Christianity is called the exchanged life. We give up self effort and let God be in control. We cease from works! So many so called believers are battling Satan in self effort. Then they wonder why they are defeated. The Lord, he is God! He defeats all his enemies!

We are called to have servant hearts and this is a kingdom principal.Too many people want to be Lords and glory hogs. As Jesus Christ rules in our hearts then we will truly have dominion over the powers of darkness.

“You know that those who are supposed to rule over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you; but whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For the Son of man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:24-45)

If salvation were by grace through faith plus a pilgrimage to Jerusalem or a gift of $50 to the Church, we would be saying through all eternity, “Am I glad I made that pilgrimage (or gave that gift)!” We would share the glory of our salvation. And God does not wish to share His glory with anyone—even with us!

See how sad this sounds…….and that is what one is saying when they add works to Gods unspeakable gift of Jesus Christ.

If anyone adds any work to salvation in any way they are nullifying the cross and rejecting the atonement. If one is adding works to the gospel he has fallen from grace, and grace no longer applies.

My concern is that all would come to the knowledge of the truth and repent of dead works. You may think you are saved by adding works to keep your salvation but alas you are not.

Hebrews 2:3

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him

Eph 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The Gift of Repentance.

The born again life produces the fruit of repentance but it is not repentance itself. True repentance converts the heart to God.  The dead in sin are raised to new life in Jesus Christ by FAITH.

Lordship Salvation is the false teaching that a sinner must cease  from a sinful lifestyle in order to be saved. This is a false doctrine not taught in scriptures !

The Greek meaning of the word “repent” is METANOIA, meaning “to change one’s mind” but the  Lordship Salvationists claim that it means “to cease from living in sin.”

If a person has to stop committing sin to be saved, then   keeping the law is required for salvation but according to the bible this is not true!

Mark 1:15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

Repentance and faith are part of the gift of salvation. The one who believes with the heart (born again spirit) on the Son of God for forgiveness of sins has repented.

The bible says to preach the gospel of grace through faith in Jesus Christ and as we do then faith and repentance are produced according to God’s will.

2 Timothy 2:25-26. “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Hebrews 12:17. “For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.”

Acts 11;15-18
And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Colossions 2:8-17

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ.

Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened (made alive)together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Which are a shadow of things to come but the body is of Christ.

In conclusion brethren, we are not in debt to keep the law. Nor are we subject to the rudiments of this world. WE ARE NEW CREATURES IN CHRIST! FILLED WITH THE SAME SPIRIT THAT RAISED JESUS
CHRIST FROM THE DEAD.

If you do not have the Holy Spirit of course you will feel compelled to keep the law because you know you are a sinner and God requires you to be righteous! We who have the first fruits of the Spirit know that we have eternal life. We are assured of our salvation. If you are not sure, please examine yourself today. Are you really in the faith?…Do you know that you know that you know, you are saved and going to heaven to be with the lord?…..If not, lay down your burden of sin…for it truly is a burden! You cannot keep God’s law. Grace will keep you. Ask Jesus to save you from your sins and make you a new creature in Christ today!

JUSTIFIED FREELY BY HIS GRACE

The book of Galatians is Paul’s effort to correct the heresy of Judaizers who were trying to tell people that “Christiancults” and even most religions that are not even remotely Christian, believe that you must modify your behavior to be acceptable. You must be “good enough” or do enough “good deeds” to get to heaven according to their heresy.
The bible says that the rigteousness of Christ is imputed or accredited to the Christian saved by grace through faith in Christ and not by keeping the law  given by Moses which is done away with for justification by Jesus Christ. The law’s purpose is to show people that they cannot keep it and thus leading to christ for salvation.
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Yes, the righteousness of the law is fullfilled in those who are born of God’s Spirit and walking by his power.

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore BY THE DEEDS OF THE LAW THERE SHALL NO FLESH BE JUSTIFIED IN HIS SIGHT for by the law is the knowledge of sin. BUT NOW THE RIGHTEOIUSNESS WITHOUT THE LAW is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD WHICH IS BY FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being JUSTIFIED FREELY BY HIS GRACE through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the JUSTIFIER OF HIM WHICH BELIEVETH IN JESUS.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by THE LAW OF FAITH Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: Seeing it is one God, which shall JUSTIFY the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision THROUGH FAITH

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. ” Romans 3

THE LAW IS ESTABLISHED BY FAITH IN CHRIST FOR THOSE WHO ARE BORN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

FAITH- pistis-expectation, confidence,believe,trust,persuased,assurance, reliance
